Foley Retoother Model 332

The Foley model 332 was first patented in the mid-50's...  Though it can be powered by a motor, this one is entirely hand-powered - and I can tell you that it will wear you out if you have several saws to retooth!

Re: Foley Retoother Model 332

Looks like that retoother has been around the mill a few times.

I have been in the sharpening business for 57 years and still going strong.

I see by the picture you only have 3 ratchet rails but couldn't tell which ones.  Looks like 8,10,? points per inch.

I couldn't determine if this item was for sale or not.

If it is for sale please contact me at e-mail account oweenaco at contractor.net

Re: Foley Retoother Model 332

Hi, thanks for the comment.  It is definitely a well-used retoother, made sometime in the 50's, I think.

Sorry, it's not for sale... nothing on the site currently is - this is not currently a commercial web site, just me messing around.

There are 3 ratchets in the photo, they actually cover 6 different TPI configurations (every tooth and every other tooth - a 12 tpi will also do 6 tpi, for example).
