A Bad Axe update
Mark from technoprimitives.com sent me an update on his new line of "Bad Axe" saws - I thought it might interest some of you - so I thought I would share it here. Here's the latest:
Moving ever onward. Thought I’d share some pics with you of the latest developments. Still working out some finish and back issues, but am almost there. With luck, I should still start shipping at the end of the month. At any rate, there’s been major headway this month, and as soon as I get my saw backs at 100%, I’m ready to go into production.
Mark also included some more shots of his beauties:

Mark sent along a few additional pics, these of his final prototype - and says he thinks they will be ready within the next 10 days or so:
Re: A Bad Axe update
Hi Leif,
Marv here,
I've been following Marks progress from when he first mentioned he was wanting to make saws. He has cleared many hurdles along the way and in a relatively short amount of time. From what I can tell thus far, he has what it takes to be successful completing in the handsaw marketplace. I'm impressed with his determination and problem solving abilities and his focus on quality. I have a feeling that when he hits the market with his first products, people are going to notice. I suggest that interested saw users get their orders in early. I'm looking forward to holding one up close and personal.

Hi, Marv!
I agree. I've also been impressed with his devotion to quality. I think his saws will easily compete quality-wise with any saws available today. It also sounds like he is working towards a reasonable price point. I too, am looking forward to trying one out...
